    Donguri korokoro donburiko,
    O-ike ni hamatte saa taihen.
    Dojou ga detekite konnichi wa,
    Botchan issho ni asobimashou!

    どんぐりころころ どんぶりこ
    いけにはまって さあ大変たいへん
    どじょうがて 今日きょう
    ぼっちゃん一緒いっしょに あそびましょう

    An acorn rolled down and down,
